I've been passionate about the power of advertising from an early age. As a young boy, I thought the ultimate career would be that of Darren Stevens on the TV show Bewitched. Every week he would come up with a crazy ad campaign and create colorful storyboards with wacky characters to present to his clients. And I've been lucky enough to develop my own creative and result-driven ad campaigns for for over 25 years.
Great execution does not equal a great idea. In other words, it may look very nice, but there's nothing going on upstairs. Great execution must come from the benefits of a given product or service. Anything else is just a shortcut, and those rarely convince consumers to buy.
I believe in the enduring power of a potent message, an irresistible brand personality and a clear campaign. Especially when they’re communicated in ways and places that are consistently relevant, engaging and compelling to consumers.
